HOLISTIC THERAPY
Holistic therapy goes beyond 1:1 talk therapy. My goal is for you to feel safe in your body again.
To not just survive, but thrive in life.
I meet you where you are, always. Sometimes that means beginning the session with a grounding exercise, be it a meditation, visualization, or tapping exercise. We may also pull a card to jumpstart dialogue and processing. And when appropriate, I use various evidence-based and practice-based modalities based on your needs and goals. This includes and is not limited to trauma-informed therapy, such as EDMR, EFT, mindfulness, grounding, resourcing, neural retraining, coaching, constructed awareness, parts work, attachment theory, somatic therapy, codependency work, and tools, positive psychology, strengths-based therapy, motivational interviewing and more.
We also look at what other factors may be contributing to any disharmony or dis-ease in your life/ body. Clients are all required to visit a root-cause practitioner if they haven’t established care with one already. For those in Southern California, there are various practitioners who accept most insurances that I can connect with you with. In addition, we will likely look at, or discuss sleep hygiene, nutrient intake, movement, self-care tools, self-love practices, switching to clean household and beauty products, work-home environments, boundary practices, nervous system regulation tools, support systems, mindfulness grounding activities, and creativity.
All clients receive a journal of their choosing, and have access to 25 % off all supplements and holistic products at Fullscript- Please let me know if you’d like for me to create an account for you.

More on some of the modalities I use:
Constructed Awareness is a practical and organic approach to psychotherapy designed to help clients accept and heal themselves simply by observing their experience more deeply. The Constructed Awareness Institute is dedicated to education and research that enhance therapists’ clinical work and personal growth.

Parts Work Therapy attends to the conflicts between parts that when left unresolved can sabotage your efforts toward healing. For example, within therapy, there are times when you might be attempting to work through a difficult or traumatic memory. Even though you are ready to heal, there might be a part of you that interferes with the process in an attempt to protect you from vulnerable feelings that feel threatening to your sense of self.
Neural Retraining / Nervous System Retraining is based on neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity is the lifelong capacity of the brain to change and rewire itself in response to the stimulation of learning and experience. We essentially can heal our bodies, by healing our brains/ nervous systems. Neural retraining is a daily practice that helps us to create new neural pathways. By doing this, it helps us get out of fight-or-flight (fight, fleeing, freezing, fawning), aka a chronic-stress response. Our bodies can then prioritize healing over surviving, and It gently moves us into ‘rest and repair,’ allowing our bodies to prioritize healing over surviving.
I have my own neural retraining program I like to use in conjunction with other programs out there. Actually, it is also a requirement that my clients sign up for a neural retraining program while in therapy, as I have seen it consistently be an effective tool. Plus, it’s an affordable and non-invasive treatment. Many (including myself) wish they knew about it at the beginning of their healing journey. DNRS, Gupta, Primal Trust, Organic Intelligence, and Vital Sides are all options. Some even offer free trials - Sometimes you can join online neural retraining support groups where someone is either giving away their program for free or at a discounted rate.
Tapping, or EFT, is a mind-body therapy that draws on the traditional Chinese medicine practice of acupuncture. It involves tapping key acupressure points on the hands, face, and body with your fingertips while focusing on uncomfortable feelings or concerns, and using positive affirmations to neutralize those feelings.
Research suggests that EFT tapping can relieve stress, help with important, and may even relieve symptoms of PTSD.
EMDR Therapy With Mindfulness Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy with mindfulness is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. The EMDR approach believes past emotionally-charged experiences are overly influencing your present emotions, sensations symptoms, and thoughts about yourself. The processing allows you to process traumatic or intrusive memories and break through emotional blocks, without having to retell every detail of one's experience. EMDR incorporates bilateral stimulation and mindfulness, replicating the sleep pattern, updating your memories to a healthier present perspective, and creating a shift in the way one manages triggers and experiences the memories of past events so that you can live an adaptive and emotionally healthy life.
Read more about it here. Keep in mind, that you may get emotional during processing, and have vivid dreams after our sessions, especially in the beginning. If any other symptoms come up, please stay in close communication. Read more about experiencing EMDR here.

Emotional Code - I offer emotional code processing in coaching. The Emotion Code® therapy is a form of self-help therapy created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, an internationally renowned holistic chiropractor and teacher.
According to him, when you feel intense negative emotions such as anger, sadness, grief, or frustration, they can get trapped in the body in the form of an energetic ball. This is what he calls a trapped emotion—a ball of emotional energy.
“It can lodge anywhere in your body, and wherever it lodges, it will cause imbalances and blockages in the body’s energy field, leading to physical, mental, and emotional issues,” he adds.
In his experience, 90% of physical pain is emotional pain. So this self-healing framework seeks to identify these trapped emotions and release them, allowing the body to heal itself naturally. More info: https://blog.mindvalley.com/emotion-code-chart/
*Please keep in mind, that I cannot use my professional privileges in our work together when I’m serving as your coach. PSYCHEDELIC INTEGRATION THERAPY
Psychedelics have shown positive results and are being used for varying mental health concerns, spiritual exploration, and consciousness expansion. Some medicinal uses of psychedelics include the processing and resolving of trauma/s, war trauma, depression, grief, abuse, and heartbreak to name a few. Clinical and evidence-based research continues to reveal support for these safe and sacred medicines for the use of personal and collective transformation when they are used intentionally, respectfully, and appropriately administered.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space to unpack and process any past psychedelic experiences, which can increase the personal transformation that psychedelics offer. At this time, Ketamine and Psilocybin (depending on location) are the only legal psychedelic approved for use outside of clinical trials.
Psychedelic Integration Guidance can gently support you in processing and making sense of your experience and fully releasing exposed traumas, as well as guide you in uncovering and entirely absorbing your newly emerged awareness.
Full integration also ensures that the healing treasures discovered during your experience are not inadvertently forgotten and continue to be accessible as new resources and power. Psychedelic Integration Guidance can be scheduled as a stand-alone session or can be incorporated into ongoing individual mental health therapy and guidance sessions according to the laws in your occupying area.
I currently offer Ketamine-assisted therapy via various doctors. As a MAPS trainee, I am focused on MDMA-assisted therapy for the treatment of PTSD. If you’re looking to participate in psychedelic clinical trials, please apply here.
***Illegal activities are not being encouraged, nor are the use or abuse of psychedelic medicine exploration or substance use. The use of psychedelic medicines even within the confines of the applicable laws is not appropriate or beneficial for everyone. Please also refer to your physician prior to taking any psychedelics. All clients are solely responsible for the knowledge of laws in their occupying area and for the decisions they make.
“Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.”
